Carrie GandemerOn Friday The University of Exeter Debating Society held the mother of all middle class discussions: the Gap Yah debate.
Dream catchers were cast aside, harem pants were ironed and selves were found. The event took place in Amory Moot and saw an all student panel gather to discuss their gap yah experiences.
The event discription read as follows:
'"Oh no, Tarquin, I can't come shopping on the King's road today, yeah, cos I'm literally on Burma, yah, I'm on my Gap Yah at the moment." Join us for our first internal debate of the year to discuss whether 'This House Would Take a Gap Year!'
