Exeter RAG’s Jailbreak set off this morning and they’ve already raised £10,000

There are over 130 participants

The biggest fundraising adventure on campus is back for 2017: Exeter RAG’s Jailbreak.

55 teams broke out of the Forum on Friday morning, seeking to travel the world without spending any of their own money (for charity, we might add). More than 130 participants are now trying to get as far away from Exeter as possible in just 36 hours.

In 2016 the charity event raised more than £16,000 for RAG’s nominated charities, but this year’s committee want to smash last year’s target. Whether you’re rooting for ‘Got Nugs?’ or ‘Cheesy Sausage’, ‘3 Lost Birds’ or ‘See EU Later’, you can catch the latest updates from @ExeterRAG on Twitter and Facebook.

The Procrastinators have been “picked up by a nice gentleman in a black jumper and glasses on his way to Brighton and said he’d take us”, while Got Nugs? are “with a Geezer going to Salisbury”.
