The NatWest student living survey results are out and Exeter students have been ranked the fourth richest.

This is measured by a variety of income sources, parents, student loan, banks, etc. Exeter got an average of £1,405.53 per semester, much higher than the national average of £1,192.15.

Portsmouth took the top spot with students there getting an average of £1,516.98 per semester, and those at Sheffield seem to be struggling the most with an average of £934.98 per semester.

Exeter has a reputation for being full of rich hotties, so we’re proving ourselves with these stats. But with the fifth highest rent in the UK, at an average of £117.25 a week on average, you need to be rich to live the student life in Exeter.

After Exeter joined the likes of Durham and Kent in the raising of fees about the old £9,000 limit, it has become clear that only the richest will be able to afford to study there.

So keep playing rugby and lacrosse and looking good, we’re doing alright for cash.
