Confessions: Exeter students reveal their worst clubbing stories

And you thought your stories were bad

“I hadn’t hooked up with anyone in months so I went clubbing to try and solve the problem. That night I finally managed to find someone to come home with me. Just as we got to my house she told me she was actually a lesbian and all she had intended to do was cuddle with me.”

“I got so high that I ended up doing pushups in nothing but my boxers in the middle of the dance floor.”

“After weeks of trying I finally managed to get with the girl I liked. Turned out I’d had one too many tequilas as I ended up throwing up all over her and needed to be carried out by the bouncers. Safe to say she never talked to me again.”

“After leaving the club I decided it would be a good idea to send some racy photos to a guy I had been talking to that night. I accidentally sent them to my dad.”

“I got kicked out of the club for twerking against a wall for too long. I honestly don’t understand what I did wrong.”

“I had run out of money and was still desperate for more drinks. In my drunken state I decided to exchange my new and uninsured iPhone 6 for three Jagerbombs. I never saw the phone again”

“I had intended not to drink on a night out but ended getting smashed. So I had to leave my car and walk home instead. Next thing I know I wake up on a pavement being kicked by a policeman. Apparently they had received multiple complaints about a dead body”

“My friend was working as a DJ in a nightclub and so I spent the night in the booth with him. After about 10 free drinks I got completely naked and started crowd surfing”

“I have terrible eyesight so once I’m drunk I barely even know who I’m talking to. I spent about 10 minutes ranting to a stranger about my annoying friend. Turned out that the stranger was in fact the annoying friend I had been complaining about.”

“I had one of my school teachers numbers left in my phone from a school trip. As I was leaving the club I decided I didn’t want to walk home and ended up calling him to tell him that I loved him and was waiting for him to collect me. In my drunken state I couldn’t understand why he kept on hanging up on me.”
