Sidwell street closed as man is found hanging from a window
One man was severely injured
Jack HarrisonA man was found hanging out of a window with severe lacerations on Sidwell Street.
It and the adjoining roads were cordoned off.
Police were alerted at 4:20pm, one man was severely injured and another suspected dead – the death is unconfirmed.
A PCSO at the sight was unable to make a comment, but said that police had had to enter in riot gear.
Students are being advised to stay away from the area as the police continue to investigate.
The city has been cordoned off from the post office/co-op at the duke of York to the area beyond the bus station.
