EURFC beat Durham to make it into the BUCS Final at TWICKENHAM

Not even a tree falling onto the pitch was enough to stop them

EURFC beat Durham in today’s BUCS semi-final up at the sport’s park rubber crumb by 36-10.

Exeter went 6-0 up with two Gav Parker penalties and with ten minutes left of the half Exeter were in the driving seat.

A guard of honor for the EURFC heroes

With Durham powerless to the might of the green machine, it took the power of mother nature and a falling tree to stop the momentum, and bring the game to a halt.

Fucking tree, classic

It took a number of men in high-vis jackets to sort the problem; they’d clearly had a go at it before. Men like this emerged which filled the onlookers with assurance…

Looks like an all together well-to-do chap that feels comfortable chain-saw in hand

It wasn’t too long before the game was back under way and EURFC came out of the blocks the quicker of the two teams. They went on to score 25 unanswered points and took the game beyond their purple opponents.

Nevertheless, a couple of quick Durham tries got them back within a sniff, but it wasn’t to be for our similarly posh northern counterparts as Exeter scored a final try that sealed the game.

The Exeter bench stormed the pitch in elation as they realised the significance of the win… THEY’RE IN THE FINAL AT TWICKENHAM!!!
