Pranksters glue four-year-old girl to a toilet in Exeter McDonald’s

The skin was ripped off the back of her legs

On New Year’s Eve, four-year-old Kaya Langmead, was left hurt after she used a toilet in the Exeter branch of McDonald’s on the High Street when two girls thought it was funny to spread superglue on the toilet seat.

Police are examining CCTV footage from the restaurant and want to talk to a pair of blonde teenagers who were in the area.

Kaya’s mum Nicole said: “My daughter was left in tears and the skin was ripped off the back of her legs.

“I was waiting outside the toilets with my two daughters for quite a long time.

“We were just about to give up when these two girls came out of the bathroom laughing. I didn’t think too much of it and Kaya went into the toilets.

“A short time later she came out in tears and told me that she had become stuck to the seat.”

“I just want you to know that I’m still having to console my four year old daughter who was unfortunate enough to use the toilet after your little prank.”

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: “We were called to the Exeter High Street McDonald’s just after 2.30pm on Thursday after reports of criminals damage to the downstairs toilets.
