Here are the winners of Exeter’s most eligible bachelor and bachelorette

It’s been emotional

We asked, and you delivered.

You nominated yourselves and your friends for Exeter’s most eligible Bachelor and Bachelorette, and voted in your hundreds to decide the winners of this highly coveted title.

Who out of our lovely finalists has the looks and the chat to have this honour bestowed upon them?

After a tense voting period, the results are in.

Tamsin Martin-Smith has taken the crown for the girls, with a landslide victory.

The leggy third year was overwhelmed by the news and thrilled by her new title:

“I feel so honoured to be crowned Exeter’s bachelorette, thank you to everyone who voted!”

And for the boys, the winner is Alex Robey.

Alex described his reaction to the news of his win as “shellshocked”, and hopes that it will “hopefully guide me on my quest for love”.

Now that they are both highly sought after Exeter celebs and can no longer be involved with the lowly masses of non-eligible bachelor status, they are being sent off on a date, courtesy of The Tab.

Alex told us: “I’m really excited for the date. She’s my ideal woman. I hope she’s as excited as I will be.”

Stay tuned for a follow-up on how this date with these two beautiful people goes.
