The only way to make your time at Exeter better is by joining The Tab

You’ve got a lot to learn, kid

The hard part is over- you’ve got the grades, booked your train tickets, and you’ve probably bought a dozen kitchen appliances you’ll never use and tickets to four different Freshers’ Week events you won’t go to.

Soon you’ll have a phone book full of people from Surrey you’ll drunkenly meet and never speak to again and more free time than you could ever imagine.

The only way you should really be using this time is to write for The Tab.

There’s a reason why 85,000 people read us every month – we’re the only news source at Exeter worth looking at, and everyone knows it.

We’re the first to know what’s happening on campus and nationwide that affects students and our stories are picked up by national papers all the time.

It’s not all candle-lit dinners, but some of it is

If you want to get involved (of course you do), fill out the form at the foot of the page or email Corrie and Cloe at [email protected], and be a part of our team.

Unlike uni societies, it’s free to join. In contrast, you can actually get paid – and we give you some free stuff.

You’ll receive a stylish Tab t-shirt and come along to our world-famous socials, as well as having something to seriously boost your CV (we hook our writers up with work experience at national papers if they put the time in).

Even if you’re not keen on writing for us but hear some news-worthy gossip or snap a picture of something interesting, email us and if it’s any good we’ll pay you anything between £5 and £500 for it.

Get stuck in. We won’t make you EG – unless you want us to.
