The Tab’s Fashion Fails

The Tab brings you some of the worst of the fashion faux pas around campus.

fashion fashion fail the tab the tab exeter

We’ve all seen it: the dodgy hair cuts, the clashing print disasters and outfit choices that really do make you wonder if people really do get dressed in the dark.

Whether it’s a cheeky flash, a horrendous clash or just plain OTT festive spirit, we’ve managed to see it all this week.

The Clash Collision

Whether it’s the tacky leopard print jacket, the clashing lace shorts or the polka dot tights, we’re not sure what’s going on here. So many styles, so little time. Let’s not get started on the shoes, either.

On Safari

Spotted in Mosaic, whether it’s the handy jumper slung over the leopard print bag, the strange zebra-print striped top or the interesting facial expressions being pulled, we’re not quite sure where to begin.

The Cake Wreck

Whilst a very cute marketing costume for @thebigcakeshow, we’re not sure if this is one for a 9am lecture. Imagine the trouble you’d have trying to get through the Forum’s revolving doors.

A Cheeky Spot of Gardening

A very cheeky spot of gardening attire spotted near Sidwell Street. Whilst poets may have looked to garden nymphs as their muses, there’s certainly no ‘flashes’ of inspiration from this sorry sight.

Santa’s Elves

Playing Christmas tunes and decorating our rooms with tinsel is one thing, but we think these girls might be taking the festive spirit to the next level entirely.
