With it looking increasingly unlikely that RAG’s official Safer Sex Ball (SSB) will ever return to Exeter, it seems like some students have decided to host their own mid-winter underwear party.

Spotted: guy-liner on the right.

Thrown at The Workshop, the highly-coveted student crib on Hoopern Lane (more commonly known as ‘Rape Alley’), the house party went on until around 7am.

“We just jumped at the chance of continuing a one-of-a-kind, renowned event exclusively for our closest mates,” said fourth year student Jonno Ross, one of the house-party’s hosts.

With Alex (CuZo) Mancuso on the decks throughout the evening, Dragons’ Den success Chris Rea also helped to host the party, providing YoungOnes stash.

Unsurprisingly, Workshop resident Gareth Davies described the cleaning-up process the following morning as a “bloody nightmare.”
