No Dog Fouling, Please

University of Exeter clamps down on dog fouling around campus.

Green Flag Awards the tab the tab exeter University of Exeter

With recent reports of unruly dogs and poop all over the place, the University of Exeter has had to enforce its legislation on dog management.

The University is a registered Botanic Garden and takes pride in winning the Green Flag Award for three consecutive years, making its grounds accessible to the public and welcoming dog walkers.

IT’S SO FLUFFY… Surely it couldn’t harm a fly…

Due to an increase in reports of dogs off their leads, fouling and attacking wildfowl, a partnership between Exeter City Council and the University has been formed, with officials being invited to issue fines to those who break the rules.

Director of Grounds Iain Park said “It is hoped that our new partnership approach will ensure that the minority do not spoil the wonderful spaces we have for the majority to use and enjoy in the future.”

So if you are roaming about with a pooch on campus, make sure you’re prepared to scoop that poop!
