“Cold and callous psychopath” on the loose in Exeter
Imogen GroomeExeter police have warned the public to call 999 immediately if they spot Mark Sleman, an armed EDL robber who was given a seven-year sentence for robbing a homeless man at knifepoint and attempting to rob a garage.

The man, who has kidnapped and attempted to rape a 10 year-old child in the past, escaped from his Exeter bail hostel, where he had been released under license. Police believe he is still in the area and have launched a manhunt to find him.
Sleman has been described as a white, 5ft11 man with cropped ginger hair and numerous arm tattoos. Anyone with any information has been advised to call the police on 100 with the reference DE/13/8408.
A police spokesman said: “My message to the public would be to not approach him as he is a violent man. If they see him in person they should call 999 immediately.
“We don’t want to worry the public but it is vital he is caught.”
