Alright my lovers? It’s time to whack out those wellies because tickets for the annual Devon County Show are on sale!
Sophie HayBy the amount of Barbours and Hunters one sees on campus, it would be safe to assume that Exeter is a university awash with ‘farmers’. For all these country-folk, the Devon County Show may just be the highlight of the year.
The Devon County Show will take place at the Westpoint Arena from May 16-17.
The show gives us a chance to pretend we’re real farmers, providing a great opportunity to eat our way round hundreds of stalls of farm-fresh produce, drink some home brewed cider and play with some really cute bunnies.
The show will play host to a full schedule of countryside displays and pursuits. Expect Morris dancers, dog shows and the “JCB Dancing Diggers” which the Shows organisers describe as the “headliners” of the day.
So, gilets on and wallets out people. It’s time to join The Tab in getting merry on scrumpy and having a jolly old time.
