Have you ever felt that the music of Exeter’s buzzing nightlife scene is just too loud?

Those sweethearts at Beats and Bass have taken it upon themselves to educate fellow students about the dangers of listening to loud music.

Supported by the British Tinnitus Association, the society has set up the Sounds for Life site, officially launching on Monday, to promote its message and will feature blogs from DJs explaining why they wear earplugs.

Here’s the best part, though: Beats and Bass will be handing out earplugs in clubs around Exeter. So if you want to get your hands on a pair of your very own, keep your eyes – and ears – out. You’ll stay safe and look good doing it.
