| UPDATED teaching awards

Ever had a secret crush on a lecturer? Ever wanted to go out for a pint with one? Ever come out of a lecture knowing life will never be the same? Then head to the guild website and nominate them or any support staff in the fourth annual Guild Teaching Awards.

If you haven’t already done it then get your skates on, the Teaching Awards 2013 end this Friday, 1st of March.

You can nominate staff for the following awards:

  • – Most Supportive Member of Staff
  • – Innovative Teaching
  • – Best Feedback Provider
  • – Best Overall Lecturer
  • – Best Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • – Research Inspired Teaching
  • – Best Supervisor
  • – Change Agents Champion
  • – Best Employability Support

Mark Gibbs, Student Trustee, said: “A lot of time, effort and enthusiasm goes into putting together a degree that can stimulate your interests whilst giving you the skills to go on and be successful in your future career, so spending two minutes to let your teachers know you appreciate that effort really is the least you can do!”
