It’s simple… with the help of a bit of Dutch courage (provided for you), all you need to do is
play up to the crowd, maybe complete a challenge or show off a talent and watch the bids come rolling in for your company on a free date!

Your talent can be anything from pushups or hulahooping to burping the alphabet (although this may not earn you a huge amount of bids…)

Some of the dates include two tickets to The Picture House, a free meal for two at The Waterfront restaurant to name just two.

It’s going to be an amusing night, so get involved! We need guys AND girls, so if you’re interested, email Jenny at [email protected] to register.

Dan, Human Biosciences, has already signed up, saying that it “sounds quite a good laugh so I’m up for it, should be pretty funny”.

Hannah, Psychology, says “you can’t put a price on perfection, but for charity I’ll give it a go!”

Hosted by Community Action, all the proceeds go to the International Project who are heading out to volunteer in Ghana in the summer of 2013! They’ll be working with the charity KickStart Ghana to help the people of the Volta Region to fulfil their potential through education and physical activity.

Running a summer school, giving 1-1 reading lessons, renovating old school buildings, assisting teachers and coaching football – it is going to be an amazing experience, but they need to raise £6000 to get there!

Not only will The Date Auction be a great night, but it will be helping an amazing cause! Get involved – YOLO.
