Guild Candidates Announced

The Guild elections are upon us. Prepare yourself for hassle on your way to seminars and cringey campaign stunts on campus.

Candidates for this year’s Students’ Guild elections have been announced and the most important thing is there’s a nominee Tab Bnoc of the Year among them. (Hello Hugh!)

But while student elections might not seem important, Exeter has a consistently high(ish) voter turnout so The Tab brings you the candidate list.

The winner, decided by the student population, gets a cushy job masquerading as a grown-up, being paid £18,000 to do it. They’ll take over in July 2013 and will hold their role for a year.

If you care, or if your friend is running, you can start to vote from 9am on 1 February until 4pm on 8 February. There’s even a free Lemmy night to get you in the mood.
