| UPDATED

17.30

Bar any late updates coming in, that will be it from me today. I’ll be back tomorrow to give you a nice bitesize roundup of the day’s action, along with a piece on EURFC’s sensational run of form. See you at Timepiece…

17.00

The squash team remain my AU club of the year with the 1s winning 5-0 against Cardiff Met. Not entirely sure how the scoring system works in Squash but i’m given to understand thats a demolition.

16.50

Gutting news just in for the EURL 1s, losing 21-20 against Oxford Brookes, due to a last minute drop goal … bad luck continues for the league boys.

16.45

A ‘smashing’ win for the Badminton Club as well, with the 2s beating Cardiff Met 5-3

All your tweets are much appreciated, keep them coming in.

16.40

EURFC 1s continue their great run of form comprehensively beating Cardiff 27-1, making it 3 BUCS wins in days.

EURC (Riding Club) also had a good day with the 1s and 3s both winning, with a load of top individual placements, whilst the 2s finished 3rd.

Some top results so far today, lets see if we can keep it going and really ramp up our BUCS points #greenmachine

16.10

EULC 2s beat Aberystwyth 9-5, with some ‘fresher hatricks’, some ‘big hits’ and some ‘great plays’. (none of those my words, i didn’t actually know Aberystwyth had a university?)

16.05

Im glad to report to EUWRFC bounced back from a poor performance last week to destroy Oxford 52-0 and get back on track

EULC 1s also posted a cryptic tweet saying ‘maybe next time Bath #winning’ – you can safely assume they won – but I can’t tell you the score, blame their inefficient tweets.

16.00

A few results for you now,

EURFC 3s won away at Bath 52-7, a good win that

My club of the year so far, the Squash Club, backed up my support with their 2s winning 4-1 against Bristol.

15.20

Ridiculously efficient tweeting from both the EUAFC and EUMHC so far, thats why they’re getting all the attention – just the way it works i’m afraid.

EUMHC’s ‘fanstastic fours’ (not my words) rolled over Bournemouth 4-0, with goals from Matt Marshall, Scott Woolley and Tom Grimes

15.17

One major score to tell you about all ready, the EUAFC 1s won 5-1 on the Rubber Crumb against Bath, with Jesse Wilson grabbing a hat-trick.

EUMHC 5s lost 2-1 to Plymouth 1s after a ‘frustrating’ game with Rhys Davies saying that that two umpiring calls in particular were ‘the worst he had ever seen’

The Golf team were also victorious today, scoring 3.5 to Plymouth’s 2.5 – I have absolutely no idea how you can score half but there you go.

15.15

Some of the games we have to look forward to;

EURFC 1s head to Cardiff to try and cement their place at the top of the table

EULC 2s go on an adventure to Aberystwyth (loving spellchecker there)

EUWRFC are on the way to Oxford to try and bounce back from a heavy defeat last week

EUMHC 1s have a well earned rest as the 2s take on Cardiff 1s

15.00

Good afternoon and welcome to a packed day of BUCS action from a wide variety of sports. Jonny Buck here to take you through what should be an exciting few hours. Luckily, the inclement wether has passed and we have been granted with a rare bit of sunlight to ensure we actually have some outdoor sports being played this week.
