Professor Mean?

Professor Green’s nasty case of ‘unforseen circumstances’ means tonight’s gig has been cancelled.

| UPDATED Professor Green

Professor Green has cancelled his show, which was due to take place in the Great Hall tonight (Friday 30 November) due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

A misunderstanding between the promoter of the event and the rapper seems to have led to the cancellation of the show.

In a statement, Exeter Box Office said: “This concert has been cancelled due to ‘unforseen circumstances’. If you have bought tickets from exeterboxoffice.com please return them so we can issue a refund.”

The multi-award winning artist tweeted: “Apologies for Friday Exeter, the promoter asked to shift the date to a day I can not do in February – will get to see you, just not yet xx”

This was followed by a tweet-backlash at disgruntled fans: “It’s quite frustrating when I get blamed for the promoter’s actions, I don’t control the people who run these clubs. X”

Hannah Berney, Exeter Uni’s singing star, was due to support Professor Green at the gig. It has not been confirmed as to whether she will still support him if the concert is rescheduled.
