Mardon Victorious in ‘Battle of the Halls’

Oliver RossiterMardon won the highly anticipated ‘Battle of the Halls’ award at Rococo’s on Thursday night as hundreds of freshers turned out to represent their halls.
After winning the photo competition and then devouring the most crackers in a minute in Rococo’s, a spokesperson for Mardon claimed they were ‘buzzing with the victory’
Exeter Halls, last years winners, came second after a superb performance in the dance-off.
Lafrowda were also pipped by their bitter rivals Holland Hall to third place.
Original Sin spoke to the Tab after the event:
‘”Mardon truly embodied the battle of the halls ethos. Great photos beforehand, 3.2 – 4 second bolt offs, and some fresh dance moves. They Smashed it.”
