Best dressed at the Edi library: Back to school edition

Because the fourth floor is essentially a fashion show

The term has started, and all teaching is finally back face to face. This can only mean one thing—the main library is filled to the brim with fresh-faced freshers and already-shattered 4th years.

It goes without saying that Edi students are donning their most unique outfits to trek to George Square to scroll on Instagram, smoke, and avoid reading—activities far more important than studying and fully worth going into massive debt for.

We’re in the (short) window where Edi students still have the energy to make an effort with their outfits before the midterm deadlines hit. Before people don their puffers for 6 months straight to power-walk to the library with their heads bowed from the wind, we thought we’d go and check out what people are wearing on campus.

The main library is arguably one of the ugliest buildings we’ve ever seen, so shout out to the students who don their most eclectic outfits to make the pilgrimage to the library in the Edinburgh wind: you add a much-needed spark to our ‘study’ sessions.
