The thunderstorms have passed but we’ve been struck by Round Two of ECFS

Meet Round Two of the ECFS 2020 models

This year's Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show is fast-approaching with excitement for the event growing by the day. The entirely student-led event will take place on Saturday 14th March and will be held at the National Museum of Scotland.

This year's event is titled 'Welcome to the Twenties', to mark both the turn of the current decade and also taking inspiration from both the 1920s and the Surrealist art movement. It promises to be a fantastic night of catwalk entertainment, art installations, music and innovative design.

The charities ECFS will be raising money for this year are Macmillan, a nationwide charity which provides a range of services to support those suffering with cancer as well as their loved ones, and ItsGood2Give, a Scottish charity supporting young people who are affected by cancer.

Round One of ECFS 2020 models gave Storm Dennis a run for its money and left us completely blown away, but luckily Round Two's models are just as (lightening) striking. Scroll on to meet them.

What has been the best part of your ECFS experience so far?

For me I’d say the best part of the ECFS experience has been meeting new people. Everyone’s so friendly and the committee are all super nice!!

What would you say is the worst current fashion trend?

In terms of worst current fashion trend, it’s hard to hate on a whole trend, but a big no for me is the adoption of the ‘dad shoe’ by high end brands. The whole premise of a dad shoe is that it’s the type of shoe a dad would wear, and I’ve never seen my dad in Balenciaga…

What would be your dream catwalk song?

My dream catwalk song is a song by Mall Grab called Strangers.

What has been the best part of your ECFS experience so far?

The best part is meeting people I wouldn't usually come across in Uni because there is such a wide range of years of studies and degrees represented in the show this year.

What would you say is the worst current fashion trend?

I find neon shape wear to be the worst fashion trend at the moment.

What would be your dream catwalk song?

Glass & Patron by FKA Twigs.

What has been the best part of your ECFS experience so far?

The best part of my ECFS experience so far has been participating in the modelling workshop. It was really nice to meet so many of the other models and have time to practice our walks together.

What would you say is the worst current fashion trend?

I'll admit that I am not a big fan of bucket hats. Maybe it is because I tend not to wear hats very often, but I don't think it is something I will be packing for my next holiday!

What would be your dream catwalk song?

There are so many brilliant songs to choose from! I think 'Lean On' by Major Lazer and DJ Snake featuring MØ would be one of my top picks. It's got a good rhythm and is great to listen to any time. It's not incredibly recent but it is a song which appears on a surprising number of my Spotify playlists!
