Edi comes last out of all Russell Group unis in ‘Student Experience’ rankings

We still finished ahead of Napier

Edinburgh has been ranked 58th in the latest Times Higher Education rankings on Student Experience. This meant that we came equal last out of all the Russell Group unis alongside Imperial College London.

The rankings were worked out by surveying 1,000 students at each uni asking them questions about their thoughts on their academic experience, uni facilities, societal experience, student welfare, accommodation and their student union.

The specialist agricultural institution Harper Adams University topped the rankings whilst Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle and Oxford all made the top ten.

Scottish unis St. Andrew’s and Glasgow placed considerably higher than Edinburgh in thirteenth and 34th respectively, whilst city rival Heriot Watt was ranked 33rd.
