Solar eclipse underwhelms the capital

50 shades of clouds

This Friday morning between 7:41 AM and 11:50 AM the UK was blessed by a solar eclipse.

It was due to peak at 9:30 AM.

As exciting as it sounds this is Scotland and, as usual, the sun was hidden behind a very grey layer of clouds.

So for those of you who just couldn’t get out of bed after a dramatic night at Hive or the unfortunate souls locked up in Hugh Robson, here is what the eclipse looked like.

So yes, it was all a bit underwhelming.
