EUSA back down on no police motion.
The TabEUSA’s motion preposing less cops on campus has been withdrawn.
The motion “Police on our campus” was set to be debated this Thursday, but its proposers have decided to pull out due to comments and attacks the announcement of the motion received.
Looks like these guys will be around after all.
On Facebook the motion was hotly argued. Maxwell Greenberg though, a 3rd year Politics student, created an event, ‘Oppose the reduction of police presence on campus’, urging students to protest against the motion and on which many aggressive comments were left.
The discussion was soon asked to be taken down as personal and vicious messages were being left.
