It’s what you’ve all been waiting for: Part one of introducing the Round Four Fight Night fighters

Fight Night is back in town and what a line up of fighters they have for us.

Durham’s fittest, fiercest, and sexiest student cohort have been training intensely for weeks under the watchful eye of the Wilder Events crew and professional coaches. They’ve put in the hours and piled on the muscle, and this Saturday, they’ll come tête à tête with destiny in the ultimate student boxing showdown. Fight Night was established in 2021 by Wilder Events, and is managed by Durham students, for Durham students, and is the self-proclaimed (and widely agreed) best black tie event in Durham.

For Round Four, they have partnered with Blokes and Solidaritee, charities which both have a deep connection to the local and student community. Blokes is a not-for-profit mental health charity that provides men with a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental platform to open up about their mental health, connect with others and tell a #MaleTale.

Meanwhile, Solidaritee is a charity led by students and young people, standing against the injustices faced by refugees, and supporting NGOs working directly with those affected by forced displacement.
