St Cuthbert’s Society Fashion Show: Meet the Models

Beauty isn’t everything, but it is a lot

With the streets of Durham sporting 70s flares and horizontal stripes, St Cuthbert's Society Fashion Show (SCSFS) and their models are bringing Studio 54 to Durham.

The beautiful models of this year will be strutting their stuff in aid of Children North East.

After the successful launch earlier this week, SCSFS has decided to take a trip to Planet Funk on the 4th of December, for a "Meet the Models" night.

Here are a few of the gorgeous SCSFS models you'll be able to meet at the event:

What's your signature dance move?

The Hoedown throwdown, big up Hannah Montana.

What's the most useless talent you have?

My high pitched voice which can only be heard by dogs.

What's the best rumour you've heard about yourself?

That I'm dating my gay housemate.

What was the last photo you took?

I'm not sure but there's a strong chance it'll be of a cat.

What would you bring back from the 70s?

Saturday night fever since there's NOTHING to do on a Saturday around here.

It's always the time and place for the worm.

What's the most useless talent you have?

The speed at which I can see off a Paddy's is something to be admired.

What's the best rumour you've heard about yourself?

There's far too many to choose from.

What was the last photo you took?

My camera roll is just my classmate's notes.

What would you bring back from the 70s?

A pair of platform shoes because who's heard of a model (just) under 6ft.

Denim flares.

What's your signature dance move?

The attempted-and-failed shuffle whilst flailing arms, you'll have to see it in person to fully understand.

What's the most useless talent you have?

Probably organising Spotify playlists- I have over 30 and it is my highest form of procrastination. Last year over summer term alone I created 24 of them.

What's the best rumour you've heard about yourself?

In the DSU one Wednesday night I was told, from a tenuous source, that I had the best walk in the DU auditions…

What was the last photo you took?

A picture of a card I drew for my best friend from home's birthday, of him acting as "The Vampirate" in "The Vampirate" for Durham Improvised Musical.

What would you bring back from the 70s?

The lack of care for anything. Go wild.

I'm weirdly good at throwing pens into bananas like a dart.

The aesthetic, but not the institutional racism.

You'd be surprised by how many Dixy wings I can smash on a night out.

Rumour has it I can down a pint in six seconds. Lies, it's actually four.

Got some pictures that represented just how rowdy the CalSoc black tie ball actually gets.

What would you bring back from the 70s?

The chance to see David Bowie in a concert.

Some hairstyles, and especially the confidence to rock the moustache.
