The Guardian’s university league tables for 2018 have been released and Durham has been placed as 4th in the overall rankings, moving up from two places from last year.

This is our highest ever ranking in this particular table.

The Guardian uses criteria such as student satisfaction, student to staff ratio, average entry tariff, and spend per student to measure the rankings of the various universities.

Durham scored an impressive 84.2 out of a 100 overall,  beating the likes of Imperial, UCL, Warwick and LSE and Exeter.

The University is also ranked as number one for Archaeology, second for Education, and third for Chemistry, Theology, Geography, English, and Earth Sciences.

Although Doxbridge isn’t a thing (yet), the Avengers did shoot here.

So really we’re the best university in the country.
