This year’s Palatinalps could be the ‘biggest ever’

They took over Market Square this week

On Wednesday this week, the Palatinalps team took over Market Square, to advertise the annual Durham ski trip. The trip, which involves alcohol, nudity and sometimes skiing, has become an annual fixture for Durham students with too much money. This year’s trip looks to be the largest yet.

The group set up tents playing music advertising the trip, as well as handing out popcorn to passers by.

A Palatinalps representative said of the trip: “It’s one of the biggest university ski trips and one of the only university ski trips under £400 for the base price. It’s a week filled with so many fun events. This year we have a pool party.

“It’s also a really good way to meet people outside of your college.”

When asked to recall their best memories from last year, they said: “Apres every day was a surprise, there was champagne being sprayed everywhere. It’s really a week full of surprises.”

More information for the event can be found on their website.
