Hatfield college, scene of the crime

Witnesses in Hatfield bar said players were acting aggressively to bar staff on the 14th of October.

There are several reports of rude behaviour from freshers, with some spitting at a wall while bar staff walked by and vomiting.

Bar staff allegedly tried to remove bottles of wine smuggled from home.

Currently not being termed an “initiation”, which are banned by Team Durham, it has now led to this decisive act by college bars.

After this article was published it emerged that the Rugby Team had not had their campus cards confiscated from Castle bar. The article was amended to reflect this.
