Dan Slavin has been made Durham’s new student president.

“Tough guy” Dan Slavin has been elected DSU Pres.

Dan, a Biomed grad who is currently Stephenson’s JCR Pres, will take up the full-time, paid sabbatical position for the academic year 2013-14.

A keen rower and lax player, Dan describes himself as “fluent in University acronyms” and a “2013 tough guy” in his election manifesto.
