Dundee beats Oxford and Cambridge to go 26th in new university rankings

A huge survey of British students has sensationally placed Dundee 24 places above Oxford, and 20 above Cambridge.

The award, handed to us by Whatuni.com, saw Dundee rated 4.29 out of 5.

Over 25,000 students were asked to complete surveys on their opinion of their uni within ten categories, including job prospects, student support and accommodation.

Job prospects: 41st

Course and lecturers: 61st

Student union: 7th

Accommodation: 14th

Facilities: 43rd

City life: 56th

Clubs and societies: 50th

Student support: 57th

International: 21st

 


Our Student Union came in for particular praise. Daniel Mccomm branded it “Mad, busy and cheap.”

Although last year Dundee was only ranked 84th in the poll, we have a history of scoring highly on satisfaction surveys: last year the National Student Survey placed Dundee top in Scotland.
