Two men stabbed on Far Gosford Street on Friday night

Two arrests have been made


Two men were stabbed on Gosford St following an incident on Friday 23rd of November, just after 3am.

The injuries are not thought to be life threatening however the victims, who are both in their 20s, were taken to hospital after the stabbing.

West Midlands Police told The Tab Coventry: "Police were called following disorder in Far Gosford Street, Coventry, just after 3am on Saturday (23 November). Two men in their 20s suffered stab injuries which were not thought to be life threatening.

"A 20-year-old man and another man aged 21 were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and bailed pending further investigation".

Video footage taken on Gosford street shows a substantial amount of blood on the pavement and multiple police cars at the scene. The full video can be seen on the Tab Coventry Instagram page.

This comes after a separate stabbing just hours before outside Cross Cheaping McDonalds in Cov city centre.

The victim in the McDonald's stabbing was a 17-year-old and was admitted to hospital with chest wounds that are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police have now launched an investigation into both incidents and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
