15-year-old shot by Rose Community Centre
His injuries aren’t thought to be life-threatening
Laura WilliamsA 15-year-old-boy has been shot on Vincent Street just outside the Rose Community Centre at 5:30pm yesterday.
West Midlands Police said: "Police were called to a shooting in Vincent Street, Coventry at around 5:30pm yesterday. A 15-year-old-boy was taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing."
A police helicopter was also seen flying around the city.
The area of Spon End was taped off and armed police and ambulance services were at the scene, according to a Spotted Coventry City Facebook Page.
This shooting is just two months after another 15-year-old-boy was shot just outside McDonald's and was taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.
