Teezers is our new favourite place in Cov and here’s why

No matter what age we are mini golf will always be fun, but now the students of Cov can enjoy mini golf in true university style.

Teezers is the perfect chance to pretend you don't have a 9am and instead play mini golf and have a few bevs while wearing some really funky hats and listening to those tunes we all secretly want at pres. Alexa queue Single Ladies' by Beyonce.

Any hole's a goal

We realise this entire section sounds like one big innuendo so we're just running with it, okay?

Teezers offer a variety of throwback themed holes including Jaws, Friends and Jurassic Park. Each hole varies in difficulty but each has its own unique style with enough to distract you that you won't get bored even if you're losing (which I was). Plus, all of the holes have tables to put down any drinks or bags. V handy.

Alternatively, a leg rest

All of the holes are family friendly so if you ever want to make Cov look pretty when your parents visit, take them to Teezers.

Insta vibe central

There are eighteen holes which means eighteen distinct Insta opportunities. The UV lighting means that any outfit you're wearing automatically looks fab and every theme means a different pose. Nice nostalgic backgrounds? Check. Glowing blue teeth from UV light? Check.

The toilets also have a huge mirror for THAT iconic squad pic you've planned with your pals, fear not.

Hole in one? Completed it mate

Every hole has some kind of prop you can pose with, whether you wanna vogue it out or whether you want some smiley pics for your family group chat. It does it all.

There's constant 90's vibes and every single hole is one big throwback. Also massive shoutout to the DJ for dropping both slaps and bops throughout our entire visit. You will find yourself singing along without even thinking.

Good food to fuel your golfing abilities

As a student, food is naturally very important – but especially if it's food we haven't cooked. Teezers offers a street food style menu with both vegetarian and vegan options.

Get a gal who looks at you the way she looks at this burger x

The menu offers a range of hotdogs, burgers and a homemade chilli so basically anything you get is already better than that microwave meal you forgot to defrost back at your uni house. It was tasty, we were happy. What more do you need to know, really?

The draaaanks

Cocktails, cocktails and more cocktails. We love it. It is a proven fact that nothing makes you feel more special than drinking a cocktail with one of those little umbrellas in it. We recommend the bubblegum daiquiri which tastes just like an alcoholic tango ice blast aka an actual dream.

Teezers also has a bar on the second hole which means if you get overexcited and finished your drink in 0.2 seconds, it's okay because you can buy another one. Definitely not speaking from experience. However this bar is only open on weekends, so watch your greedy self if you're there on a Tuesday night.

Deals deals deals

Teezers do a 2-4-1 on cocktails for students on Monday to Thursday as well as a burger and fries deal for £5. Not only that, but the actual golf is cheaper for students too – a round costs £5.95 (Mon-Thurs from 4 til 8pm) if you flash your student cards.

Plus, because Teezers is open both early and late, it can be great for a post library sesh wind down activity or even an alternative to pres. It's near enough to JJ's, why not swing a few golf clubs before hitting the club club?

Basically, we plan to go again as soon as physically possible. My stomach just needs to recover from all the food and golf related adrenaline first.
