Yoga classes on the roof of The Hub and vintage sales: Here’s everything happening for Green Week 2018

It’s all in the name of saving the environment

| UPDATED

Yesterday marked the start of Green Week 2018, a collaboration between Coventry and Warwick universities, as well as the council and both university SUs, to encourage students to be more environmentally conscious.

Green Week actually lasts a fortnight, and for every single day of those two weeks there are environmentally friendly events being held for students to take part in.

As well as the yoga class on the roof of The Hub this Thursday at 12.30pm, there are also vintage sales at Fargo to promote recycling clothes, workshops at the Uni of Warwick allotment, and community bike rides all week long.

Not only that, but there are sustainable soup making sessions, where soup is made from left-over waste ingredients from restaurants and supermarkets, and a FabLab session where you can fix your small household furniture for free. So whatever damage your house parties have done, you can sort it before your landlord finds out.

If you're interested in any of these events or maybe you just want to become more environmentally friendly in general, you can find the full programme of the Green Week events here. Plus you can like the Green Week Facebook page for daily updates.
