A round up of all this weekend’s Varsity results so far

Both of Coventry’s basketball teams brought back big wins

It's Varsity weekend and currently Warwick are leading with 24 points with Coventry's scoring eight.

It was a rocky start for Coventry this Varsity after losing the first event, Equestrian, 197-141.

In a hard fought game, Coventry Squash also went home losing 5-0 to Warwick.

In the tightest fixture so far, Warwick slashed their way to victory over Coventry's Fencing team scoring 125-124.

In a thrilling neck and neck game, Coventry Women's Basketball were victorious scoring 52-50, making them the first Coventry University team to win a Varsity game this year. Crowds also enjoyed rainbow-coloured clappers, celebrating LGBT History Month.

Snowsports, which took place in Stoke-on-Trent, left Coventry in the dust losing 15-8.

The Men's Basketball team decimated the competition with an incredible 74-60 score in a hard fought match.

Coventry Cricket Club finished with 111 runs, short of the 47 needed to beat Warwick. The final score is 158-111.

Athletics ended in disappointment after losing to Warwick 29-7

After a nail biting game Coventry Table Tennis beat Warwick 8-9

Warwick won the women's tennis match

Mens Volleyball: 3-1 to Warwick

Warwick swam to victory in both swimming events

Coventry Ultimate Frisbee fell short to Warwick: 14-5

Coventry women's Volleyball slam the competition: 0-3
