Cardiff man arrested on Wyeverne Road for suspected supplying of class A drugs

The arrest occurred on Tuesday morning

A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, South Wales Police have confirmed.

This comes after armed police were seen raiding a house on Wyeverne Road on Tuesday morning.

Plain-clothes officers were gathered around the property after arriving in an undercover vehicle.

The street had reportedly been temporarily closed off.

One individual living in the area claimed he saw a man being pulled out of a car and onto the ground outside the property. He also said he saw the police arrest the man, before then trying to gain access to the house.

A student living on Wyeverne Road told The Cardiff Tab: “I just heard loads of shouting and ‘get down on the floor’ quite a lot.”

South Wales Police have said that “enquiries are continuing.”
