Bute Park is severely flooded and many parts closed off entirely

Not the best day to walk your dog

With Storm Dennis making an impact on the whole UK, it definitely didn't miss Cardiff. Bute Park is severely flooded to the point it's hardly recognisable.

At around 10am this morning, pedestrians were greeted with the rising river, gushes of water and gusts of wind.

Walk ways and pavements were completely flooded and pedestrians couldn't get to many parts of the park.

A passerby told The Cardiff Tab "the entire bottom end is closed off" and understandably, there aren't many pedestrians in the park.

Although no emergency personnel can be seen in the park, it is clearly very dangerous at the moment and pedestrians are unable to safely walk in some areas.
