Two men charged with the murder of Fahad Mohamed Nur at Cathays station

A further man remains in custody


22-year-old Cathays resident Abdulghalil Aldobhani and 24-year-old Shafique Shaddad from Butetown have been charged with the murder of Fahad Mohamed Nur, which took place at Cathays station on Sunday.

Aseel Arar, a 34-year-old woman from Birmingham has also been charged in relation to the incident, accused of assisting an offender.

Abdulhalil Aldobhani and Aseel Arar were arrested at Heathrow airport on Wednesday.

They will appear at Cardiff Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

Earlier today South Wales police revealed they believe Fahad was known to his attackers.

A 21-year-old man from Cardiff who was arrested in London late last night remains in custody to face questioning.
