You know you're well into the first term at uni when Halloween comes around, it's an official marker of where the madness settles down slightly and the hard work begins. So it's only right that Halloween has to be celebrated properly.

And what better way to celebrate the annual event than dressing up and going out? You may not be trick or treating anymore but you can still showcase epic fancy dress costumes out and about in The Diff. But if you're still stuck on where to go this Halloween then fear not, as we have compiled a list of all the best events going on next week on the 31st.

Halloween in the Vaults ft DJ Boring

What would be a better Halloween night out than raving at an abandoned bank?

This event has everything eerie covered. Think darkness, claustrophobia and the spooky echoes of an old building. Because Good Life are once again using an abandoned building to host their annual Halloween event, this time it's in a disused bank.

Previously they have hosted Halloween events in old warehouses, mansions and textile mills, and this years event promises to be just as scary. They have hinted that something dark will be 'brewing' in the underground vaults. DJ Boring will also be a guest at the event.

Brooklyn Zoo, Clwb Ifor Bach

Cardiff's popular event Brooklyn Zoo is returning next week for a Halloween special. They've promised an apocalyptic experience like no other and will be playing classic tunes all night. Expect 90s Hip Hop, Trap, Grime, and RnB music on a multitude of floors.

Halloween Throwback 90s vs 00s, Tiger Tiger

This year Tiger Tiger are hosting a nostalgic throwback Halloween party with free flying sauces, space invader crisps and prizes for the best dressed clubbers. We'd advise not getting with anyone after eating space invaders though unless you're brave.

As part of their theme Tiger Tiger are encouraging residents of The Diff to go dressed as memorable 90s and 00s Halloween characters. From Harry Potter to the killer off Scream, there's so much choice to choose from.

Night of The Living Dead, Revs

This Halloween Revs are turning their venue into "feeding grounds of horror and fright." They promise that their DJs will be raising hell and causing murder on the dance floor.

There's set to be confetti shooters, extreme Halloween decor, monsters and ghouls on the night. Along with their usual chart, Hip Hop and urban music rooms.

Yoloween, Y Plas, Cardiff Students' Union

Let's be honest how could you not attend Yoloween? It's a popular choice amongst the rugby lads and the sporty types and where else could you imagine spending a Wednesday night?

Plus there's set to be even worse fancy dress outfits here than anywhere else. So if you want a laugh, go to the place you know best.

Arena Halloween Special ft FooR, Pryzm

Pryzm are changing things up this Halloween with their Arena night which is set to bring a festival atmosphere to the club. They are set to have a number of guests including special headliner Foor. They state that there is something for everyone with a variety of music, from chart songs to house and Garage.

The Nightmare Project, Soda

Think old school disco vibes, because Soda are offering a night full of nostalgic Halloween treats. They're providing a trick or treat tuck shop, halloween inflatables and fake blood syringes so everyone can get in to the spooky spirit.

Enjoy House, Bass and Mashups downstairs with an attic upstairs for Hip Hop, RnB and Grime.

Wherever you do decide to go this Halloween, make sure you look the part and have a thriller of a time.
