Cardiff University Ladies’ Rugby Club have done a naked calendar and it’s out now

And they only cost £7

| UPDATED

For the second year running Cardiff Uni Ladies’ Rugby Club have bared all to raise money for CoppaFeel – a cancer charity which aims to raise awareness in young people.

Around 15 of their players stripped down at 7am on a freezing cold morning to pose for the charity calendar, using only rugby balls to cover their modesty.

Rosie, the Rugby Club’s Social Sec tells The Tab Cardiff that they decided to do the calendar again this year in association with CoppaFeel as it “not only causes awareness for breast cancer but cancer awareness in general”.

The team were initally quite nervous about getting naked in front of eachother and Rosie says “it took some confidence for all us girls to get naked not only in front of each other but also for whoever sees our calendar”.

Along with raising money for a good cause, they wanted to promote how sport and rugby is for any body shape, and to empower women to be confident with their body and how they look. They insisted on no airbrushing of the images.

The team would love to beat the total of £500 that they raised last year for CoppaFeel, the calendars only cost £7 and can be bought here

Nice little stocking filler for Christmas!
