Anthony Joshua’s first fight after becoming World Heavyweight Champion will be against Kubrat Pulev in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium this October.

Joshua’s fight against Klitschko earlier this year was watched by 90,000 people, but new competitor Pulev has lost only once to Klitscho in 26 fights.

Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter, wanted the Principality Stadium, which has hosted three boxing events before, to host the event with its ability to shut the roof during poor weather conditions.

The fight will take place on October the 28th, two weeks before the Welsh rugby team begin their November campaign against Australia in the same venue.

Eye candy everywhere.
