A blue dragon with the UEFA Champions League trophy has appeared atop of Cardiff castle ahead of the final on the 3rd of June.

Onlookers this morning were pleasantly surprised with the new arrival, as it was installed overnight in preparation for the final.

The final will be played between Juventus and Real Madrid at the Principality Stadium, as Cardiff hosts Europe’s most prestigious football competition next month.

It is not the first time the castle has been invaded by the city’s sporting events as in 2015 the castle had a rugby ball installed on the side ahead of the Rugby World Cup.
