SU to increase toilet provisions

After complaints from students

Cardiff University’s Students’ Union is aiming to increase toilet provisions in the long term, after student complaints about slow access on event nights.

In the short term, staff will manage queues and more cleaners will be put on duty.

The Tab previously complained about the Students’ Union need to increase toilets, as females often use male facilities due to long queues.

A statement on the Students’ Union website specifically referred to Juice, and said: “We are aware that this increased demand has had an impact on the facilities, in particular quick access to toilets during these club nights.

“We are aware and recognise that this is a problem and we’re working hard to find an effective solution.

“We want to thank the students who raised these issues with us and we’ll continue to take feedback on our progress as we go.”
