‘Killer clowns’ reportedly spotted in Cardiff

NOOOOO

Creepy “killer clowns” have apparently been spotted around Cardiff.

South Wales has become a “hotspot” according to a Facebook sightings page, with people also posting about the clowns on Twitter.

Three were reportedly spotted in Cardiff, with one in Roath Park and another near a church in Grangetown.

Two allegedly ran at people trying to take a photo.

The Facebook page ‘Clown Sightings UK’, with over 18k likes, commented on how there were “so many spottings” in South Wales as it “seems to be a hotspot.”

The sightings have spread around Wales with alleged spottings in Aberdare, Treforest, Pontypridd, Tredegar, Pembrokeshire, Tylorstown and Swansea.

Elsewhere in the UK, a clown was spotted outside Belfast nightclub Villa on Thursday night.

Some have apparently been seen in Bristol too.

The craze, which started on college campuses in the US, has spread to UK soil in the last few days.
