Two cars in Cathays have been broken into within 48 hours

It happened on Wyeverne Road and Coburn Street


Two cars had their windows smashed and were forcibly entered in Cathays. 

A blue car was broken into at approximately 12.30pm on Tuesday at Wyeverne Road. Two windows were smashed and South Wales police allegedly received a report of the theft on the day of the incident.

The second incident occurred Wednesday morning on Coburn Street and involved a silver car. Police received a report of one window being smashed.

A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: “On Wednesday morning, South Wales Police received a report of a car window being smashed in Coburn Street.

“Nothing was stolen and officers have been checking CCTV to identify the person responsible. There have been no arrests at this stage.”
