Cardiff tops poll of best cities for young people

Over 2,000 18 to 30 year olds have placed Cardiff above world hub London, comedy central Edinburgh and Irish capital Belfast in a poll to find the best UK city for young people.


FACT: 7 in 10 living in Cardiff love their job

Despite London offering high wages, today’s youth have ranked it at 15th place due to poor cost of living, rental rates and level of crime.


FACT: Average annual wage in Cardiff is £21,585

Dr Hanna, an expert in demographics said: “job satisfaction and cost of living proved to be the factors they feel are more crucial to their quality of life, with work-life balance also proving important.”
