Cardiff comes out rock bottom in uni sexual health survey

| UPDATED

Cardiff ranks lowest for sexual health among all top unis, a study has shown.

A survey by online doctor, Dr Ed, put Cardiff bottom among Russell Group unis for measures such as contraception and testing.

The news confirms the long-held suspicion that Cathays is a hotbed of pregnancy and sexual infections.

And it also lays the blame squarely with the university, for failing to provide much-needed support.

A uni spokesperson said: “Cardiff University takes the matter of its students’ health very seriously – sexual health is no exception.

“We have reviewed the report in question and consider its findings inaccurate. The organisation that carried out this study has been contacted and we hope the full scope of our comprehensive sexual health services will be considered in a revised report.”
